About Us:
A Drop of Light was founded to address the lack of awareness of suicidal ideation and intent in the frum community. Without the awareness that the problem exists, there can be no solution. Additionally, the lack of conversation around this topic causes many people who struggle with such thoughts to feel even more alone which puts them at a higher risk of carrying out a suicide plan. It is our hope that this organization will be able to open the conversation and allow those who struggle to know that they are not alone. B’ezras Hashem, this will be a large step in bringing down the number of frum individuals who die by suicide.
